To The YMCA Community —

We pray that you, your staff and the communities that you serve remain healthy, safe and secure during this pandemic. There isn’t a community in the U.S. that has not been affected by this and many YMCAs are doing what they can to alleviate the pressure by assisting first responders and the medical community maintain their daily life saving efforts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by COVID-19. We applaud the efforts of the YMCAs that are taking steps to ensure their members still have virtual access to fitness programs and ongoing childcare for members that need help. As YMCAs begin thinking about their re-opening strategies, YPurchasing will be here to help.

The YPurchasing team is working remotely, but at full capacity, to ensure lines of communication remain open for the needs of our YMCA members, as well as for non-member YMCAs reaching out to us for guidance and assistance. Many of our 50+ vendors are also assisting YMCAs outside of their reach to make sure as many resources and options available to YMCAs as they can, while still servicing their customers.

In this time of need, YPurchasing wants to let any and every YMCA know we are here to do what we can to make a difference. Please consider us a resource to assist with any procurement needs you may have at this time. We are also doing what we can to ensure the right products are made available at the right time. We are connecting YMCAs with new vendors to get them the products they need.

We are here for you, regardless of your membership status — we will not turn any YMCA away in this time of need. Please consider us an avenue as you seek assistance.

Sincerely,

Terry McElfresh
CEO & President, YPurchasing
